Refund Policy

This page is not finished. The refund terms below are a structure, not a commitment — every figure and window is a placeholder. Refund terms are a binding promise to a paying customer and cannot be guessed. Fill them in with the client before running any advertising.
This policy covers the 30-day Cinematography, Video Editing and Colour Grading course run by SVM Photography at Hubballi, Karnataka. It sits alongside our Terms.

A monitored address. Required by the DPDP Act for data requests, and by Meta and Google for advertiser contact.
1. Before the batch begins
TO CONFIRM — cancellation before the start dateHow many days notice is required for a refund, and how much is returned? A common structure is: full refund minus an administration fee if cancelled more than N days before the start; partial refund inside that window. Decide N and the amounts.
2. After the batch begins
TO CONFIRM — withdrawal after the course startsBecause food and accommodation are included, costs are committed from day one. State plainly whether any refund is available after the start date, and if so on what basis (pro-rata, fixed percentage, or none).
3. Deposits
TO CONFIRM — is a deposit taken, and is it refundable?If a deposit holds a seat, say whether it is refundable, and whether it is adjusted against the total fee.
4. If we cancel or move a batch
If SVM Photography cancels a batch, or moves it to dates you cannot attend, you may choose either a place on the next batch or a full refund of everything you have paid. This applies regardless of the windows above.
5. If a student is asked to leave
TO CONFIRM — removal for conductState whether any refund applies where a student is asked to leave under clause 8 of the Terms. Most centres offer none; say so explicitly rather than leaving it unstated.
6. How to request a refund
