These terms apply to the 30-day Cinematography, Video Editing and Colour Grading course run by SVM Photography at Hubballi, Karnataka. Joining a batch means accepting them.

1. The course
- 30 days, run as a full-time intensive rather than weekend classes
- In person only, at our Hubballi centre. There is no online, recorded or distance option
- Roughly 90% practical: handling cameras and gimbals, lighting real setups, and editing and grading your own footage
- Covers cinematography, lighting, visual storytelling, Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
2. Fee and what it includes
The fee is ₹36,000 for the complete 30-day intensive, including food and accommodation for the month, all five modules, and the practical shoots.

3. Equipment
Students are encouraged to bring their own camera, lenses, gimbal, laptop, batteries and memory cards. Centre equipment is available during class hours for those who do not have their own. You are responsible for your own equipment while at the centre, and for any damage you cause to centre equipment through misuse.
4. Attendance
The course is practical and sequential, so sessions missed cannot easily be repeated. The certificate is issued on completing the full 30 days.
5. Certificate
Students who complete the course receive a Certificate of Participation in the Cinematography, Video Editing and Colour Grading Masterclass, issued by SVM Photography. It is a record of attendance and completion. It is not a degree, diploma, or a qualification accredited by any university or government body, and it is not represented as one.
6. No guarantee of work or income
We do not promise employment, freelance work, clients, or any level of income. What the course provides is training and a finished, graded film of your own work. Outcomes depend on your own effort, practice, attendance and the market you work in.
7. Photography and filming at the centre
Sessions, shoots and batch photographs may be recorded and used by SVM Photography to promote the course, including on this website and on social media. Tell a trainer in writing before the batch begins if you do not wish to appear, and we will accommodate that.
8. Conduct
We may ask a student to leave for behaviour that endangers others, damages equipment, or prevents the rest of the batch from learning. Refunds in that situation are governed by the Refund Policy.
9. Changes to batch dates
Batch dates are confirmed on the call before you pay. If we have to move or cancel a batch, we will tell you as early as we can and offer either a place on the next batch or a refund.
10. Liability
Practical sessions involve equipment and outdoor locations. Students take reasonable care of their own safety and property. Our liability is limited to the fee you paid.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hubballi, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
